Global Trade Finance
Global trade finance volume reached $168.6billion via 1085 deals in 2011, the second highest level on record behind 2010 ($171.1billion via 1254 deals). Activity in 4Q 2011 fell to 137 deals, the lowest since 1Q 2004 (113 deals), resulting in the average deal size increasing to a record $266 million.
