NewSat to access ECA finance for Jabiru-1 satellite

Following the signing of a commercial contract with French launch provider Arianespace, NewSat CEO confirms financing applications with Coface and US Ex-Im are progressing well.

Australian satellite company NewSat has lodged applications for the financing of its $400 million Jabiru-1 satellite with export credit agencies US Ex-Im and Coface.
Yesterday, NewSat signed an agreement with Arianespace for the launch of Jabiru-1 in 2014.
