Citi China Desk strategy paying off

Citi has reported that its China Desk strategy is generating strong momentum around the world.

Citi has reported significant progress for its China Desk initiative, first launched in September 2010, reflecting strong client demand for the offering. Under the initiative, Citi has sent senior Chinese bankers to strategic locations around the world, to serve the needs of Chinese companies doing business in international markets. After initially opening China Desks in Hong Kong, Singapore, London, and New York, Citi has now expanded its China Desks to Dubai, Johannesburg, Nigeria and Algeria.
