Speaking at SMEs exporting and growth conference at London’s BFI IMAX today, the UK Prime Minister David Cameron announced a three-pronged approach to get Britain’s SMEs selling abroad.

Cameron described the government’s “laser-like” focus at championing UK commerce, cutting out cumbersome regulation and developing further financial resources for the UK’s small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).

Cameron comments: “If we could increase the number of SMEs that sell overseas by 100,000 it has the potential to add £30 billion ($47.8 billion) to the UK economy.
