Banks have until next Monday, 29 August 2011, to respond with financing proposals for a $4.5 million debt package for the Barzan gas project in Qatar.
The debt which comprises export credit agency (ECA) funding and an uncovered commercial tranche will be the largest internationally syndicated loan from Qatar in three years, reports Reuters.
