Trade across Europe is in a much healthier condition than it was a year ago. This is in no small part due to the essential role that development finance institutions have played in engaging banks and corporates to complete deals. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) wins the award this year for best DFI in Europe while EIB is highly commended.
