The arrangers, BNP Paribas, Natixis Bank, Société Générale CIB (SG CIB) win this award for creating an elegant and bold transaction as sole arranger on a debut financing for twin aluminium smelters. This transaction was an innovative debut Chinese structured commodity financing that proved a syndication success story.
The deal was also the only renminbi structured syndicated commodity deal involving primarily foreign financial institutions to have closed in the first half of 2010....
