Funding the quantum leap
This was an exceptional transaction that saw Standard Chartered Bank (Standard Chartered) take an exposure of $70 million on a small Bangladeshi owner-operated company with annual turnover of $28 million. This deal was the first structured trade financing transaction done by Energypac and the largest deal to date done by Standard Chartered for a local corporate in Bangladesh.
