Roaring into the market
In a first ECA financing for Tiger Airways, MLAs Standard Chartered helped launch the start-up airline into a market-share leader. Using their expertise to negotiate a 12-year loan agreement with French export credit agency Coface, the bank closed loan facilities for 11 A320 aircraft, with the provision for further pre-delivery payments for 14 aircraft up until 2013.
