This pre-export finance (PXF) facility, arranged by WestLB, is the first large syndicated transaction for the borrower and one of the very few syndicated transactions in the Brazilian agribusiness sector in 2010. It clearly demonstrates that with a combination of a good credit risk and a tight deal structure, a maiden voyage syndication can be very successful.
