A progressive ECA structure
On this deal BNP Paribas (BNPP) acted as sole arranger and underwriter to finance the export of four AW 139 helicopters from Agusta Westland Helicopters (AWH) to the Trinidad and Tobago Air Guard. Two of the helicopters were delivered in September 2010, and the remaining two will be delivered in September 2011.
The $93.6 million deal is split between a 12-year export credit financing of $79.72 million, and a seven-year commercial loan of $13.84 million, both door-to-door and with semi-annual repayments....
