Sinosure connects in Spain
This deal stand out in that it spans three legal jurisdictions, involves seven corporations, incorporates six contracts, and took the best part of nine months to bring to a close by BBVA’s Hong Kong branch, Beijing representative office and subsidiary BBVA Finanzia as well as the bank’s local and international accounting, legal, tax, and risk teams. It is also the first Sinosure deal in Spain with such a structure and BBVA’s first ECA deal with its Chinese partner CITIC.
