WestLB has arranged the senior debt financing for a commercial container port in Colombia under the IFC’s A/B loan programme.

WestLB’s New York structured finance team has arranged the $142 million senior debt financing out of a total $160 million project financing for a commercial container port in Buenaventura, Colombia. The port is the only significant Pacific coast port in Colombia.
The financing is for TCBuen (Sociedad Portuaria Terminal de Contenedores de Buenaventura) for the construction of an up to 1 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) dedicated container terminal on Colombia’s Pacific coast.
