There has always been a lot of talk about export credit agencies (ECAs) in sub-Saharan Africa, yet the last six months has seen them radically up the pace of their activities to successfully close more deals and facilitate trade.
China is an enormous influence in the region with the Chinese state insurer Sinosure covering a variety of transactions with a boom of infrastructure deals on the horizon.
