A survey on transaction banking by software and trade services company Misys has revealed that banks are consolidating their transaction and payment services within trade finance.
The survey highlights the growing trend for combining transaction services with over 50% of the bankers surveyed working in organisations that had already consolidated payments, cash management and trade services into a single transaction banking division.
According to the survey a further 15% planned to do so in the near future.
