Japanese trade bank Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) is to lose half of its forfaiting team as part of a restructuring process.

Japanese trade bank Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) is to lose half of its forfaiting team as part of a restructuring process. David Lilley who heads the team is leaving as is Bulut Bakla who is also part of the team. Both were based in London.
SMBC is also losing David Rees, assistant general manager within the structured trade and commodity finance (ST&CF) team at the bank in London.
