HSBC has been working closely with SabaFon since 2003 by structuring and arranging the financing of its various capital expenditure programmes. HSBC has used the support of Euler Hermes, the German export credit agency, for most of the facilities on account of the scarce appetite in the commercial banking market for Yemeni transactions.
