This deal is a worthy winner and memorable for being a big deal that did exceptionally well in a very difficult market. The loan was eventually closed oversubscribed in October and was one of the last syndicated loans of any real size to close in Latin America before the end of the year.
Satisfyingly the deal was not just a plain vanilla financing but included a complex mechanism and an offshore vehicle...
