Citibank has signed two new export credit financings with
Algeria in May. The two financings, together valued at over $400
million, put Citibank at the forefront of capital goods import
lending to Algeria, and the country very much firmly on the map for
new trade contracts.
The first facility is a $163 million US Ex-Im Bank (US Ex-Im)
supported financing for Air Algerie. The financing covers the
purchase of five Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft each with
two-CFM engines....
