Members of the Berne Union, the International Union of Credit
and Investment Insurers, braved earthquake tremors during October's
annual general meeting in Taipei to inaugurate three companies as
new members. Chubb Political Risk, Export Credit Insurance
Corporation of South Africa and Export-Import Bank of the Slovak
Republic were accepted as new observer members during the week-long
meeting, held in Taipei, Taiwan, from 11 to 15 October....
