StanChart boosts structured export finance group

Standard Chartered (StanChart) has strengthened its project and
export finance group, which includes structured export finance,
with the hiring of five new individuals across its global
network.
Joining the team in London are Torsten Richter who will have the
title of director, and Alex Goldsmith with the title of associate
director.
Before joining StanChart, Richter spent nine years in the
Berlin, Magdeburg, New York and Frankfurt offices of Deutsche
Bank's structured trade and export finance group where he
originated structured trade and export financings. During his time
with Deutsche, he arranged ECA cover from Germany's Hermes,
Austria's Oesterreichische Kontrollbank and the US Ex-Im Bank.
